Artistic:

I believe that a photograph captures a moment in time like no other medium.  One image can speak for an instant or a entire lifetime.  Certain types of images take professional preparation and experience; other images take that same experience...and a bit of luck. 

Business:

I believe that when a client chooses a photographer, the photographer and client should share the same vision.  If they do not, it becomes difficult for the photographer to take ownership of the shoot and the client will not be satisfied with the final images.  Ultimately the client should get the images he or she wants.  It is the responsibility of the photographer to put his or her heart and soul into capturing the right images.
